Sarasota Real estate for Sale

Hello Friends,

If you’re thinking about selling your house in 2022, you truly have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity at your fingertips. When selling anything, you always hope for strong demand for the item coupled with a limited supply. That maximizes your leverage when you’re negotiating the sale. Home sellers are in that exact situation right now. In spite of all that is happening in the market, remember the importance of working with a Realtor who has strong experience in a seller’s market. While it may look easy from the outside, skillfully navigating multiple offers and dissecting various contracts take a certain skill set that only comes from experience.

Properties are still sparking bidding wars. Recent supply constraints in the construction industry (labor shortages in materials like lumber, concrete, and paint) are only amplifying the demand. Even in a seller's market, pricing your residence correctly is critical. Don’t rely on guesswork – or an inexperienced agent. Let’s connect to make sure your house is perfectly positioned. Call me and let’s talk about your home’s true value in this busy market.

First Look at SRQ Airport Expansion

Sarasota Homes for Sale by Debbie McHardy

A proposed ground-level passenger facility at Sarasota Bradenton International Airport has airline officials raising their hands, saying they want to operate there.  With a two-story panoramic view of airport operations, five passenger gates, and five places for airliners to load and off-load passengers, the planned facility is designed to blend with the existing terminal.  In addition to the ground level facility, “decluttering” plans for the existing Concourse B are planned to better organize available space and add “bump-outs” to introduce new concessions, all designed to relieve crowding and improve passenger flow.  Construction could start this fall with utility work completed in 18 to 24 months.

National moving company PODS has put Sarasota at the top of its rating of the country’s most desirable locations. Sarasota had the highest ratio of move-ins versus move-outs of PODS customers from January 2021 to March 2022, beating out Dallas-Fort Worth, Nashville, and Tampa, according to a news release on the PODS data. "Growth in this southwestern Floridian city was enough to bump it up from fifth to first place on this year’s list of Top 20 Growing Cities in the U.S.,” the report said.  With growing housing demand and insufficient supply, median list prices hit a new record high in March, both nationally, at $405,000, and locally, reaching $500,000. Sarasota is also Ranked No. 3 in the U.S. in new Wall Street Journal report.
