      The Sarasota and Manatee housing market continues to surpass all pre-pandemic levels in March of 2021.  Immense buyer demand continues to drive multiple offers; there simply aren't enough homes for sale to satiate our market. Half of all single-family homes are closing above list price, our sales volume is more than double what we've seen historically in March, and we have fewer than a quarter of the homes we would typically have available to sell.  A balanced market reflects six months of available inventory. We currently have three weeks of available inventory - and that number is shrinking every day.

Southwest Airlines destinations from SRQ

 At a time when the travel industry is still recovering from costs of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport set a new passenger traffic record for the first time in more than 30 years.  The airport at University Parkway and U.S. 41 straddling Sarasota and Manatee counties welcomed 277,590 passengers in March, breaking its previous single-month record of 255,247 passengers set in March 1990.  With the recent addition of Southwest Airlines, and expanded service on our nine other carriers, travelers now have a multitude of choices when making their travel plans.
